The Three Things
My three favorite things about my book are the violence, the mystery, and the ever changing clues. The violence is in just about every chapter. There is always someone getting beat up or murdered which makes for a very interesting stroy. The mystery helps keep you guessing in the story. The mystery of the people Mr. Marlowe follows helps make the story interesting because you never know where the people will take you next. The ever changing clues help the story get going, but then slow down agian when you find out the clue is just a red harring.

My third song is Wildside by Motley Crue. I picked this song because Carmen Sterwood is always partying and acting out. Like she always trys hitting on Philip Marlow. My final song is On the Road Again by Willie Nelson. This song applies to the book because the setting always changing and is in one place and then another in like one page.
One song that represents my book is Girls Girls Girls by Motley Crue. I chose this song because the main character, Philip Marlow, is always getting hit on by the girls.
Another song that represents my book Poker Face by Lady GaGa. This song represents my book because one of the main characters is a gambling addict.

Finshed
I have just finished the book and it was one of the best books I ever read. There were heart stopong moments, strange plot twists, and many clues that would have even fooled Sherlock Holems. If you like mysteries you will love this book, but there are some adult themes through out the book. The book was exciting the whole way through. In every chapter something new came out that kept you guessing on who killed who until the final chapter when it all came out.
Weekly Question
"Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary compentencies that daily live requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become." -C.S. Lewis
This a quote I have to respond to by explianing what I think it means.
I believe that C.S.Lewis said that literature can compare to life in almost any circumstance. Also it enriches life around you and provides sometimes clear and sometimes not so clear meaning of life. "Irrigating the desert" is like alowing more knowlage to pass from one person to another.
This quote relates to my story because in the book there have been 5 murders in 3 days of each other and this kind of stuff happens in life. the book also had many different clues to find who killed the one person. That happens during real police cases when new evidence comes out all the time.
